Take Charge Financial! Brokerage Services

The Services of Take Charge Financial! are designed to give you,our Client,the maximum capability for your use of brokerage services.  This is a list of the full range of services – and associated cost – that you may encounter in your brokerage statement as you invest your assets with the Firm.

You will receive a monthly brokerage statement,that is prepared directly for you by National Financial Securities,our Clearing Agent,and this will come to you directly in the mail.  If you have any question,at any time,about your monthly statement,please contact our office.

As follows is the range of account charges that you may experience:

  • 2% Advisory Fee – which is charged on a quarterly basis.  You will see this charge on your statement when you initially move money into your new brokerage account(s) with the Firm.  This fee is for the close supervision,adjustments and management of your assets.
  • An hourly rate charge of $250 for any consultation regarding your account.  This is a charge above the Advisory Fee.
  • A minimum initial consultation and set up fee of $250 (with a one hour review and financial planning meeting).
  • You will have the ability to see your accounts on-line and to do this you will be given a log-on ID and password.  The changes for this on-line viewing will be assessed annually not to exceed $99 – depending upon your level.
  • To keep you on track – your assets will be reviewed at the end of each year – and a report will be given to you either in written form,or in a personal conversation that apprises you of the status of your account.  This will range from $79 (with assets of less than $7,000** in your account) to $1900** (with assets in excess of $300,000 in your account),and it is billed quarterly in the year of the report to your account.  As needed there may also be a mid-year review when markets are particularly turbulent and warrant mid-year attention.
  • Fax and copy services – billed at $3.00 a page.
  • Monthly coaching plan – for assets that are held outside of the Firm – such as in company 401(K) Plans and other retirement accounts – for guidance in the management of these assets.  The same $250 billing rate applies in this service.
  • A Wire Transfer Fee,which is assessed as needed.
  • A Check Issued Fee,which is assessed as needed.
  • A charge for physical checks issued for your account – this charge is the cost of the checks.
  • IRA maintenance Fee – which is assessed on a yearly basis.
  • IRA Closing Fee – which applies if you close your IRA account with the Firm.
  • Financial products such as books,teleseminars,newsletters,and other related financial products.
  • Seminar offerings – the cost of your seminar may be charged to your brokerage account for ‘A Girl Needs Cash’ and the ‘Asset Mamas’ programs.
  • Teleseminar – the cost of your teleseminar may be charged to your brokerage account for ‘CentsAbility’ or ‘Stock Market Mastery’.
  • Ezine and other publications that are related to your money management and financial education.

**Year-End Report Costs as of 1/1/2011 are as follows:

  • Up to $17,000:  $79.50          
  • $7,000 to $20,000:  $192.00
  • $21,000 to $30,000:  $550.00
  • $31,0000 to $60,000:  $650.00
  • $61,000 to $90,000:  $750.00
  • $91,000 to $149,000:  $1200.00
  • $150,000 to $225,000:  $1500.00
  • $226,00 to $299,000:  $1750.00
  • $300,000 to $600,000:  $1900.00
  • $600,000 to and up:  TBD
